tinfoil hat time, but it certainly seems like china has the most to gain from CV19. crazy how that happens

I think it’s just a fortunate coincidence for them, sincerely.
But I definitely think, as this thread indicates, people have an incredible and unfounded hubris about how much external stress the American economy can take without feeling large scale depression. Most of the business debt in this nation pre-COVID was rated BBB and below because people were leveraging hard because we believed in this economy. These people are going to be absolutely fricked as their businesses close and many of them will be forced into a Chapter 13 or equivalently bad outcome.

It would only be tin foil if you also believed China intentionally created and released the virus.
It’s not tin foil to say China is the winner of all this in the end
