Hot Take: The focus shouldn't be on abortion

The focus should be on preventing abortions by preventing pregnancy. I strongly feel that a male birth control is needed, but will never be fully developed and marketed due to the amount of men that would take it and population growth would take a sharp decline over time.

I would like to see female birth control that lasts for ten years. It can be distributed to all children as soon as they hit puberty.

Thots are the problem
Every time you think you’re settled down and happy and ready to commit to a real healthy lasting relationship, a fricking thotty appears out of thin air.
Got me fricked up

We should start offering money for snipping.

There's no good reason comprehensive sex education and birth control shouldn't be widely available everywhere. Statistics have shown when they are, we see less abortions.

Where were these thots when I was in a relationship?

Aren’t vasectomies reversible? One could argue there is a male birth control. Then you reverse it when you’re ready to try and have children.

It shouldn’t be on abortion or birth control but instead self control and morality.
Why not just respect yourself and others?
Why as a culture are we promoting sex so much?
Why aren’t we empowering women with their ability to choose their partner instead of choosing to murder a baby.
Our society is so backwards.

I don't disagree with the focus.
But it shouldn't be controversial for a modern society to condemn abortion-used-as-birth-control, which it is in the huge majority of cases. Meaning we shouldn't need to shift to the narrative to avoid that topic. It's pathetic that we can't get on board with that.
As a culture we eat cage free eggs, embrace veganism, concern ourselves with how many acres cows have to graze in their pre-slaughter life, but have turned "maybe don't use abortion, a barbaric practice to snuff out human life, as a fallback for pregnancy prevention" into a controversial and - to some - hateful statement.
It's bizarro world.

This is a great thing. The whole world needs this to happen.
We desperately need this to happen. Governments even admit as much. Trust me, if they make a male birth control that is effective and cheap/free for people below the poverty line, they will take it. Trailer trash and hood rat guys don't actually want 3 baby mommas.

We have. But urban women and trailer park whores are literally choosing to have hundreds of partners.

100%
If you're on government assistance (welfare/medicaid/food stamps/etc.), you have the choice to take a 1-time payment of $10,000 to get an irreversible vasectomy.
You have to speak to a psychologist/psychiatrist to make sure you're of sound mind first, then you are green lit for the operation.
Would likely save our country. Single parent households and government handouts are killing our society and economy.

Ah yes. Because abstinence only education works SOOOOOOO well.

Have you ever heard of an IUD?

I always wonder what percentage of unplanned pregnancies are birth control failures. I refuse to believe this many women are totally irresponsible and oblivious.

And quit giving money for children. Amazing how many fewer babies would be born into poverty when you quit incentivising it.
