That was then, this was now. Appy St. wasn't running its mouth about embarrassing LSU in Death Valley. As for stretchers...I don't wish that on any player...however a couple of highlights like this will suffice.

Yep, thought we had a fine showing at the last game.
I've never posted on here that I think we are going to win. I think (and hope) to have a respectable showing. I don't think we will be shut out again.

App's NC trophy says DIVISION 1 National Champions. You were picked by some people who get off to watching the Big Ten and SEC play.

Umm, LSU scored 56 on N. Texas. Why couldn't they do it the following week to little div 1-aa App?

I don't see how stating facts from the 2005 game is locker material. I hardly doubt they need clippings from the Rant to get pumped up for this game anyway.

Come down, have a good time. Don't leave thinking you heard how loud the stadium is.
In these type games it almost always goes the same way: LSU struggles a little early then wins 42-13. That's just what we're used to. The fans start leaving around 2min left in the 3rd.
This game will just be on TV, the crowd won't get CRAZY like it will be for GA. and Blama.

I never said App had an advantage in this game. They won a championship the real way. You just got chosen by a bunch of guys who like to have a limp biscuit session while watching a Big Ten and SEC showdown in the "National Championship" game. Personally I was hoping it would have been LSU and West Virginia just because that may have been a bit of a better game. But Pitt had to ruin that by winning a meaningless game for them.
