When was the last time LSU played someone you felt like they had no shot of beating?

Even in the 90s, I still felt like there was an outside shot of us upsetting ranked teams. I think Florida when they had Wuerffel was as close to this feeling. I’m not sure we score any points and I’m not sure that Bama punts at all. It’s gonna be really ugly and kinda sad.

Even in the 90’s there was always a very small chance that the Saturday Night Tiger Stadium mystique would rise up and help will the Tigers to victory. It rarely happened, but some of those games still had electricity at kickoff.

You can’t even hope for that, with only 15,000 spread around the stadium. I’ll be there, but I’m not expecting any miracles.

As most seem to feel, Bama 18. We weren't beating that team that year and we all knew it. Same this year because of our defense. We could score 40 and they'd beat us.

I’d say one of those early 2000 Florida games with Spurrier still there.

Maybe it’s delusion but I always felt LSU could win against Bama in Tiger Stadium, no matter how good they were coming in.

Not this time.

LSU's record of winning has always been better in Tuscaloosa than Baton Rouge.

The Alabama game two years ago. We got an innovate coach that offseason and won at Alabama the next year.

Then we go hire two dinosaurs, one for each side of the ball, and here we are again.

Those LSU teams were world-beaters compared to this one. Even 2014 LSU stepped up to beat #3 Ole Miss.

Those LSU teams were ranked:

#13 vs. #7 UGA 2008
#15 @ #5 Auburn 2014
#6 @ #4 Auburn 2010
#5 @ #14 Auburn 2004
