Needed Quarterback Development and Leadership

I understand, our O-Line is struggling and this is not what we need with an inexperienced QB running the offense. Not having Joe Brady and Ja'Marr hurts too, but shite...we still have the talent on this roster to score a lot of points. Patiently waiting to see if Ensminger and Linehan can develop these young QBs. The Tigers look scared out there, with no swagger on both sides of the ball. Yeah, the stadiums aren't full this and that, imagine if Auburn 40 bombed us in front of 90K! Someone needs to step up and lead the damn team.

We really haven’t had an issue scoring points with Myles. Neither have other offenses tho.

We didn't have an issue scoring points against South Carolina either. Was this because we were at home? My point centers on the fact that our coordinators poorly prepared this offense going into the Auburn game. Very few teams in the modern era of CFB win games with 11 points.

I think Finley brought some of that much needed swagger in the S Car game, and that had a lot to do with how we played on defense. Jordan Hare is a fricky place to play, even for a senior. I think it was a bit much for Finley and Max, coupled with the fact that we were up against Steele. He’s a smart DC.

George Winfield and his brooms
On a sidenote, do I receivers still have those horse blinder goggles that Joe Brady made him wear when catching passes

Historically, yes, QB development has been a problem. I like the development of Etling, Burrow, Brennan, and even Finley and Max to this point, though.
Historically, no, leadership development has not been a problem. I don't like the way that it's been going this year, though. Both last year and this year are outliers in the sense that last year had some absolute dawgs and this year's team is absolutely decimated and dealing with alot of outside noise that very few teams have ever had to deal with.

Once Finley was on tape, any DC worth his salt can analyze the small package of plays LSU is giving Finley and take that away. This is no knock on Finley or the LSU coaches; it's just the reality. It will be next season before Finley and Max have the offense down. In the mean time, coaches like Steele and Saban are going to take away what Finley knows how to execute.

Did you watch the game. We lost the line of scrimmage on every play. Does not matter much what the play call is when you get no movement and cannot block.. our defensive ends are getting dominated No idea where our linebackers are. Anyway. Our problem is not play calling and QB development.
