What happened to the other 5 freshman from last year that should have been sophomores this year?
Going from 9 to 4 is pretty drastic after just one year.

Looks like it was actually 8 last year, not 9. We lost 4:
Marcel Brooks transferred, Apu Ika is in the transfer portal, Donte Starks was indefinitely suspended, and Ray Parker was indefinitely suspended.
