I don't buy it. None of the other polls have it close aside from Trafalgar.
Would've sounded more believable if he said something like "Only down 2 points, we're within the margin of error."

Michigan seems to be a weird state to poll. Bernie was down 21 points to Hillary and won the state back in 16. Trump was down and also won.
Throw in that disaster of a governor this round and I think Trump has a very good shot.
