This is a serious question. So why is Trump still alive? He is not in good shape and I wouldn't consider him an intellectual.
I know people will hate this because its a bad comment about Trump, but this is true.
Is he in good shape?
And yes he is the president, but he has never been known to be "intellectually active". Even before he was president, he pretty much stayed in his office and watched the news all day. Other people did all the work for him.
So I would say genes play a factor as well.
