Because they're less black. Lighter skinned, only half-black people tend to go over better with whites.

How many white politicians are the children of immigrants? Marco Rubio is one right? Im sure there are others.. Why does that matter? Unless you are a Native American we are all from immigrants. Does it matter if its first generation or fifth generation?
