They are young and light and have only been in a college weight program for however many months. There aren’t many true freshman linebackers who play in the SEC.

THIS. Not defending Clark, but you can't throw a FR LB in there who is not physically ready. Clark needs to get the mental part of his role down as MLB in a 4-3. He was a edge-rusher last year, not even an ILB with Queen and Phillips playing. I thought it was encouraging to see Baskerville in the 2d half and he had his nose around the ball on the running plays. He was badly out of place on the 4th and 6 conversion (pass to RB), but I'm betting he improves with more PT.
