Anyone else see it just now? They mailed out 500 envelopes the same size and weight of a real mail in ballot divided up among 5-6 big cities throughout US sent to the same destination. Of those 500 ballots:

11 didn’t reach destination:

9 still missing
2 returned

Total of 2.2% not delivered.

“Edit cause I did a shite job laying out the numbers”

It's a shame that democrats are the ones voting by mail

That means of roughly 240,000,000 eligible voters, 5,280,000 votes would be unaccounted for.

No big deal, lmao

On a large scale 2.2% is thousands if not hundreds of thousands of votez

What do you think the total of folks receiving mail-in-ballots choose to vote in person?

Considering over/under is 2% I'd think it's higher percentage for in person...

Just going by the 124 million people who cast ballots in 2016, that’s 2,728,000 votes not delivered. 54,560 per state.

That’s unacceptable.

A very flawed experiment.

Bloomberg has been spending up to $1000 each to buy felons the right to vote in Florida.
This establishes the value of a vote to (in one sense) be >$1000.

Now take 500 envelopes, put 10 $100 bills in each. Then write on the envelope "THIS ENVELOPE CONTAINS $1000 CASH."

NOW see how many of those envelopes reach their final destination!

How many electoral votes were lost in the mail?

The calculation is that despite the higher failure rate of mail ballots, increased turnout by mail will counter those ballots not making it or being rejected.

As always we find out next week.

What's the difference between not reaching their destination (but not returned) and missing?

The funniest part about this is how badly it's going to backfire on Democrats which is why they have started worrying about their GOTV effort. If there is even a 1% chance a ballot may be lost, misplaced, or tossed, mail-in voting shouldn't even be an option. It's simply unreliable.

This experiment didn’t take into account sketchy mailmen that can “Accidentally”
dump a stack of votes from certain areas.

The Trump supporters are going to the polls more than mail, the media is freaking the frick out and Biden is peaking out of the basement after calling a lid. Outside looking in optics make me think Trump is pulling it off again.

This is the dumbest experiment. You have to request a mail in ballot. They don’t just send them blindly. How is that so hard for Republicans to understand?
