Sounds like they're going to lower their tuition down under $13,000 to make it affordable to poor families

Also does anyone have verification of this other than the OPs post

I have 2nd hand verification from 5 students (see my post above) of the general issue.
I’d still like to hear more. To listen to those girls explain it in their own words it sounded like this was more than a liberal faculty...they had successfully embedded a culture there that was toxic.
I think a lot of parents don’t realize it.

Take a look at who is teaching this.. Dr. Katrice A. Albert recently worked in MN How's that working out? Guess its depends on the agenda.

None of the highlights mentioned in the post are on the school's inclusion and diversity page or mentioned for the training the school is in dire need of.
I encourage you to speak the truth and assist your daughter in having an inclusive frame of reference. It is not reverse racism, but your posts are highly insensitive.
Lead by good example, don't make up false agendas. Hate is a destructive power.

There are amazing HBCU's. Minorities may attend whatever institution they want too...even Miss. State.

Apparently SJA has inclusivity training this week for high school girls, the kids get a dose of reverse racism.
highlights:
- White priviledge
- Defunding the police and why its reasonable
- To correct disparity caused by generational wealth, the white kids should consider going to a community college instead of a 4 year university to make room for minorities.
Freshman have theirs scheduled for Friday, so I told the wife to check our daughter out of school before the training.
Just a heads up to all the SJA parents.
Hold up, OP. This is 100% bullshite.
I read the PowerPoint they are showing the kids. It's about Empathy and acceptance, not training or brainwashing.
It's an open discussion and it's VERY smart by the Administration to expose these young ladies to other opinions. And teaches them to not judge others for their opinions.
It's no different than what thousands of HR departments around the country are doing
The OP is ignorant and exactly why these kinds of sessions are essential so your daughters don't become racist adults.
Racism is Learned

Wait. You think a school "session" is what determines whether a kid becomes racist or not?
I can't even...

Just got told from my friend whose daughter is a freshman there that they have cancelled the Friday training. An email went out tonight. Sooooo some parents or some big donor let them know they will lose money pushing this bullshite.

I think teenagers are very impressionable. And if parents are teaching racism at home, a session or a friend can easily trigger common sense in that kid. Happens every day.
You can even. I promise. .

One of my favorite T. Sowell quotes is “if you paid teachers enough they would be conservatives”
These teachers and their liberal agenda make me sick.

Telling whites they’re inherently bad and are inferior to other races as a result is a good way to teach racism.

Really, bud? You went with the teenage idiom. I just played along.

Ok I understand. I still think it's silly to think that some seminar is going to somehow negate an entire childhood of learning and I highly doubt that St Joes parents are the ones raising racists. I mean the whole anti-racist tolerance trope is something every kid in this country hears 24/7 from kindergarten on. For a suburban kid to be a racist is essentially like declaring social death. You'd be cast into the social wilderness.

Wouldn’t just pull my kid out that day would stop payment on tuition until this shite is ended. Get enough parents and this will stop
