Michigan is garbage.

Garbage beat the Gators last year, so what does that make UF?

I think UF was mediocre last year. They had a bad defense that was propped up by a very good offense and a media star QB. We should have not played themm so close. But I guess you could say that about a lot of our games last year.

The difference between the SEC and the Big 10 is the same difference between the SEC and every other conference. It isn't the top half of the conference that makes the difference, it is the bottom half. That is why the bowl game records don't really show a big difference. In the SEC, the perennial bottom dwellers like Miss. St, and Kentucky can rise up and beat one of the top half teams and it isn't that unusual. When is the last time that Minnesota or Northwestern gave Michigan or OSU a game?

Don't get me wrong, I love it. As far as I'm concerned, if it's outside of the SEC it doesn't exist. But OSU is going to beat an SEC school some day, or win another NC, and we'll hear it all run into the ground. Except it'll be the other way around talking about OSU finally getting over the hump. That will suck.

The good thing is that an SEC school (Tenn) finally agreed to a home and home with OSU. Granted, it's not until 2018, but that was the first opening in the schedules for both schools. Yes, we have sucked vs the SEC in bowl games but I really believe that deep down inside no SEC school wants to play us, because eventually OSU will win one. A loss by OSU is their motivation to get better and get over the hump. A win by the SEC is just a sigh of relief.

Congrats. We had our two best teams both years playing in BCS bowls so your 2nd and 3rd best teams were playing teams who usually weren't in our top 3 best teams.

But if the Big X is as bad as you say it is, every game should be a blow out.

Did OSU change the combination on their locker room again?

He is right. Think about it... you got quality teams like NW who stayed within 17 of New Hampshire a few years back.

Minny who held North Dakota state to a measly 394 yards rushing in their loss to them.

Indiana who shut down Ok St by only allowing 49.

Purdue who kept C Michigan to 48 points on a neutral field.

Iowa who battled Iowa St to the bitter end, barely losing.

When half of your conference is this quality, how can you not conclude week on week it is just top notch.

Good point...

Miss St who lost to crappy Tulane (4-8 in CUSA) a few years back.

Ole Miss who was outgained by 112 yds against Northwestern State, a team that finished 4-7 IN DIVISION 1-AA.

Alabama who lost at HOME to a 6-6 team from possibly the worst conference (the Sun Belt) in D-1A.

Vanderbilt who had 16 total rushing yards and was down 28 entering the fourth quarter against an ok, not good, 8-4 Wake Forest team from the ACC.

Kentucky who let up 480 yds and only won by 7 against 7-6 Florida State, again from the bad ACC, who also had MORE THAN 30 PLAYERS SUSPENDED.

Come on, buddy.

That is your counter to losing by 17 to a Div II team? Interesting.

Ole Miss who was outgained by 112 yds against Northwestern State, a team that finished 4-7 IN DIVISION 1-AA.

And won the game... dont forget that part.. Minny managed to give up 400 yards in a gallant loss. So far your comebacks are a little sad.

Congrats, a loss... here is your cookie. Still not Div II, but a bad loss nonetheless.

Yeah they are no fricking New Hampshire. Notice you quickly had to go to a 8-4 Div I team to 'generate' a bad loss.... trust me I could have introduced the Florida Atlantics of the worlds and had a few pages of gems left.

Kentucky who let up 480 yds and only won by 7 against 7-6 Florida State, again from the bad ACC, who also had MORE THAN 30 PLAYERS SUSPENDED.

Another win against a winning Div I program... wow you really are not finding much to work with.

Come on, buddy.

You have to cite two winning Div 1 bowl team programs to make your case, when I can stil ignore Appy St, Bowling Green, Fl Atl, Duke etc from last year alone.

Here is a hint, if by your 4th example you already have moved on to bowl teams and ultimately end up citing a couple wins, even at that level of aggregation.... you probably should have not hit the response button.

Thanks for playing and we can add to the New Hampshire fun from 2006 if you like.

Ok ok ok, the shite of the SEC smells like roses and the shite of the Big10 smells like poop...congrats? Its no secret the Big10 is "down" but dont associate Miinesota's absolute wretchedness as the entire conference.

Oklahoma State's not a division 1-AA team, CMU's not, Iowa St's not. You mention ONE division 1-AA game last year from the Big 10 last year, and I do with the SEC, and the rest of the games mentioned were D-1A teams. I did exactly what you did.

Are you really counting him as a Florida conquest Bucks?

I mean, his daddy is from Ohio and played for ya'll. It would have been hard NOT to get a commitment from him.

Dont tell me, tell your whiny QB.

Again tell your QB playing Minny, NW, Indy etc week after week should be considered 'brutal'. Maybe he should go in other people's shoes as opposed to demanding they look in his and proclaim the brutalness.

Yes Minny is no NW... they battle Duke to the death... and have their eyes set on a New Hampshire rematch!

He wasn't offered a scholarship by LSU.

At the time (2005) we had just signed Doucet, Xavier Carter (quit for track but was a 5 star) and Lavelle Hawkins (one of Cali's best but trasferred to Cal) in 2004.

The year before that we recruited two future first round picks (Bowe, Craig Davis).

We weren't looking for a slow WR in 2005.

Pssst: the SEC won the game. Wins are pretty important.

The bottom line is in the last 2 years, 3 of your 11 teams have lost to Div AA teams. That is not a one off fluke.... That is pathetic, no matter how you slice it. Adding in the BG, Dukes and Iowa States are icing of patheticness.

After LM, you have to cite wins and losses to an 8-4 bowl team. Seriously kid, you are embarassing yourself.
