Harris first 3 years:
.369 3pt% 1.6 attempts
.385 3pt% 4.3 attempts
.419 3pt% 4.6 attempts

Hart first 3 years:
.396 3pt% 3.1 attempts
.336 3pt% 4.1 attempts
.342 3pt% 5.4 attempts

Harris was out for a year so he technically had an extra year of maturity for that 3rd stat.

Why can't Hart follow a similar path here? Hart still hasn't had a defined roll and I think his shot can get better.

Harris didn't take off til his last 2 seasons with a .474 3pt% and .424 3pt%. Its also the first 2 years he was an actual starter and played 76 games then 69 games.

He will also be paid very well soon and Hart will be on a better contract with plenty of ceiling.

I would love that, but especially if we end up trading Jrue, Hart's our best defender. He can't be the guy running around on offense bending the opposing defense if he's also the guy we're asking to guard top wings. Harris and Hart can both be on the team and get good minutes in very different roles.

Josh Hart was a very respectable 39% 3 point shooter in college for his career. I see no reason why he can't be close to a 40% 3 point shooter in the NBA.

Harris took almost 4x the amount of 3's Hart did in college, and both played lots of minutes all 4 years. Harris was a 41% 3 point shooter for his career.

I love Josh Hart, and I posed the question before and was never answered. How much of a dropoff, if any, do we have by giving Josh Hart all of Jrue's minutes? Do you think Hart can bring just as much to the table on both ends of the court that Jrue does? Hart is a really good individual and team defender. The more consistent he gets from 3, the more dangerous he will be on offense b/c he's already really good at getting to the rim and the free throw line. He is one of the best in all the NBA at the one man fast break.
