When looking at guys past the first couple of picks, you want either elite athletic potential, or at least one translatable elite potential skill set.

Josh Green potentially has both: He has elite Defensive potential and is a very high end athlete. A 6'6", 210lb SG/Combo Guard with an extremely large wingspan, he can guard multiple positions on defense, is extremely versatile on both ends of the court. He is very long, with extremely quick feet, with incredible lateral quickness.

His pullup jumper is one of his best offensive attributes and become a signature of his game, something that could be really beneficial. He plays above the rim as well with some highlight real dunks. Shot 36% from 3.

He does have a bit of a hitch or windup in his shot which will probably need to be worked on. 3 pointers that were shot from actual NBA range were not nearly as good as his college 36% number. His left hand is not particularly good.

He is considered a late lottery pick. This is the type of guy that should have an nba career for awhile, even if he never becomes a star player. Very very high floor.

I talked about him awhile back. A good athlete and very raw. Drew comps to Iggy, which is exciting. A bit shorter than I was hoping for, but we need speed and explosive players on the wing. I think he gets a big bump after workouts..

He's growing on me. I kind of feel like he should be higher just at a cursory glance, but what do I know.

His defensive potential is really good and he's a damn good athlete, and still young.

I guess he's just not that efficient of a scorer yet and needs to work on his shooting form is the knock.

I have him in the 20's. Quite a few better prospects out there.

I get Frank Jackson vibes from him, in a bad way.

Both Uber athletic, have shooting potential, but struggle to playmake, feel for the game, and create for themselves. Hard pass

I always come back to one number with him. 36%

36% at the rim in the half court. And that's not even to say he's super talented at getting to the rim in the first place.

There are guys I don't really like (Pat Williams for example) that I could understand the idea behind selecting him, but Green would just piss me off.

Is there a possibility that we move down or get additional picks? Boston is right behind us at 14 and they have 2 more 1sts. They don't have enough roster spots for all those, so maybe they give us a deal..?

I'm a little biased, but I really like the kid.

He has a good pullup game and he is a good catch and shoot guy. My one concern is that he doesn't have the quickest release. He has a very consistent shooting form, but he does have a hitch at the top of his release. I wonder if he will be able to get clean shots off consistently against NBA level athletes closing out. He attacked a lot off of catch and pump fakes.

.

And this is exactly how I look at him. He may very well turn into a Danny Green like 3-D player. I can see him being a 5th starter on a playoff team.

Great prospect but I’m sold on Aaron Nesmith from Vandy. If this guy is still on the board at 13, it is strictly my personal belief that the Pels absolutely take him. If the Pels make any moves to slide up in the draft, their aim should consist of Anthony Edwards or Deni Avdija...(granted I’m only a fan, this is only my shortsighted opinion with zero professional analytics, and I have zero coaching experience on any level). Just an observation
