vs. Tulane

Grade: F

To give these guys a failing grade is almost not severe enough. Former A.D. Skip Bertman loves money. And that's obvious by their eight home games, which promise 90,000-plus each Saturday in Tiger Stadium. But these four games should be half-price ... nay, third-priced tickets. Unless the defending national champs can insure us all that the game with the lower division national champs comes down to a last play field goal like last year's Michigan game. Otherwise, all Tigers fans deserve a letter of apology. Sorry Skip, you'll have to pay for the paper you write it on, too.

Apologies if "Germans."

This is like the NFL forcing season ticket holders to pay full price for preseason games.

how can you argue, but when you play a conference schedule as tough as LSU's it averages back to an A.

Seriously, I'd like to hear the justification of how when half of your games are jokes, half are awesome, that averages out to an A and not something like a B.

I'd say a solid B. Isn't LSU's SOS usually somewhere around 35 (out of 119)? That's a B or a C. Certainly not a failure.

People applaud the likes of Fresno State all the time for going out and scheduling the big dawgs. Screw that--they play 8 WAC schools every year!

Having said that, scheduling two Sun Belt schools in addition to a FCS school says "frick you" to LSU fans. If LSU plays as well as it should, none of the four non-conference games will be entertaining past the first quarter. If any of those games ends up entertaining, it's because LSU is playing like shite.

So that's four games that I don't care to see (ok, I like the Tulane game--always will).

No shite. It's Bertman's genetic predisposition to love money...

If we end up playing OSU in the NC game again, it will drop it to a D average.

Half of the posters here say it's an "even-year," so LSU can't possibly win the SEC.

The other half bitch about LSU's weak OOC schedule.

And some retards do both at the same time. Weird.

The truth is, LSU's got a really good schedule this season. It's not perfect, and it's not the best, but it's not bad either. It's neither too tough nor too easy.
