Hey, trying to help a buddy get his financial planning act together. He’s a former Shaw/CBI employee who left before CBI was was acquired by McDermott, he also left his 401k there as well. He’s moved a couple of times with his new job, so he hasn’t received any mail from McDermott about his 401k.

I can’t find any information online to help him and contacting McDermott hasn’t yielded any results. Any one know who manages McDermott’s 401k plan or where I can point him to find out?

Trying to recall - Shaw had Fidelity, then switched to merrill lynch.

Cb&i used merrill lynch I think as well

Mcedermot and cb&i used Morgan stanley for their stock plan accounts.

He should try to call the HR and they can direct him to the group managing the plan.

Thanks for the help everyone. One of my other friends who left before the CBI merger was complete, said all he needed to know about them was what they were willing to pay for Shaw.
