Anyone see this movie? It’s interesting to say the least.
It’s a zombie movie set on a modern day Indian reservation in Canada. The kicker is the Indians are immune to zombie bites, making them the only people really effective against fighting zombies.
There’s a lot going on with this movie and that’s why in the end, the movie just ends up being alright to me. There’s a lot of brutal stuff that happens, gore wise and otherwise. Stuff that just does t make you feel good. Sometimes the tone shifts a bit lighter and that really feels out of place.
The story is interesting from an Indian perspective. It really shows how fricked up reservations are and the alcoholism that is predominant there. There’s some interesting ideas on there about whether Indians have forgiven whites people.
at the end of the day though, the story is muddled. The brother relationship is so strange. And the bad guy is just so simply angry that it’s cringe worthy

It would help if you mention what platform you watched it on. I might give it a whirl.
