All the people saying fire coach O. The Wuflu and replacing 17 starters with no spring training has had no effect on the start of this season? Id probably be saying a change needs to happen if this was week 10 but its not. Am I the only who thinks a big part of what is going on is a syptom of this?

We lost to bottom feeders that had to fire their coaches because the programs sucked so bad. This is a coaching issue and not an excuse issue.

Great coaches would never field a team that plays this poorly.

Interesting.... Again replacing 17 of 22 starters isnt having a effect on this Season? Remind u no off season.. If this was a normal year there would be 0 excuse.

I am not saying fire Coach O. He led us to the greatest season in LSU history last year and he deserves time to right the ship, but I think as time goes on people are going to realize that last year was an enigma.

He is a great recruiter, but never has been and never will be an X's and O's guy. For that reason he lacks the ability to make smart hires at coordinator, and he is entirely dependent on his coordinators to coach up the team. What is even more troubling is that his hires have been lazy. He has never conducted an exhaustive search to find the best candidate available. That isn't a recipe for success.

Every time this comes up I have to ask.

Did the teams they are playing have spring or fall camp? Did they have new coaches?

LSU isn’t the only one facing these issues

Yeah id agree if again we didnt replace 17 of 22 starters. Im gonna hold off on my judgement until the end of the year. Anybody in here that thinks we should have went 9-1 this year is delusional.

Not against the very bottom of the conference whose teams are overhaulin their programs. shite, Mizzou was without 3 of the their best WRs and 3 best D-lineman. Those two position groups absolutely dominated us.

Theoretically speaking, if the coaching staff would have taken the defense and practiced pure fundamentals, gap assignments, tackling, effort and accountability, practiced and played zone the entire game, we have enough talent to be 3-0. Basic football fundamentals on defense. Basic shite, would be the difference.

Enigma is a good word, but I don't think it's the right one here. Try again.
