It's payback for the BS that came from them and their president the day after the National Championship Game. We're playing that late because our fans will have stewed all day long and we're going to give the Pound Puppies an experience no one else has ever gotten in Tiger Stadium. It's going to be ugly for them.

I would not want to be Georgia or Georgia fans if kick-off is at 11.
There was a quote about how you can smell te bourbon on the field at a night game...and thats a game starting around 8...3 hours shy of the drinking we can do.
If we both went into this game undefeated, it would top the atmosphere of the Florida game last year by far.

Bad Cat - I think you got some wrong info there. If you find out the "real time", post it please, but 11 p.m..... No Way...

The UGA game has no official kick-off time. In practice, no SEC game has an official kick-off time until it is selected for television broadcast. TV dictates the game times. Various sites use more or less absurd placeholders until the official time is determined, but I don't think those placeholders have any real credibility.

No way is this game going to be one of those Lincoln Financial or Jefferson Pilot 11 am games-this will most likely be the 2:30 CBS game of the week, if not, later in the afternoon. TV rules...

9:00 pm PST time would be cool. After the ABC 5:00 pm game, and will get to focus on that game with no other major contests going on.

Would be perfect for me out here in San Fran!! Wouldn't want to be in Tiger Stadium for an 11pm start time!

I like the idea of an 11 PM kickoff. That's prime time in Hawaii.

I have very little understanding of how games are aired/by whom but here's a link with what you're talking about...I think.
