Zea @ Towne Center

Posted by CardiacCats on 3/10/09 at 4:46 pm
Finally tried Zea's out to see how it was. Overall a pretty good experience. Started with alligator served over grits with etouffee sauce. I think it was a special they are doing right now and it was incredible.(The grits lived up to the hype) Then the server recommended the thai ribs which came out a little fatty, but we told the server and the manager came and brought a new rack out...second time around they were incredibly tender and the thai sauce definitely gave them a special flare. My date got the salmon and seemed just as happy about it. Too full for desert. We didn't wait too long for a Friday night and food and service were pretty quick. Left very happy and will be back soon!

Earthquake game..
And it was louder than the Bama field goal last year when dbyrd caught that pass in the last second versus Auburn. Great game.

As much of a Bama lock Kelly might seem, if he is smart he will decide that after he figures out where Randle is going. IF, and a big IF, rr decided to go to Bama, it would be smart for Kelly not to go there and sit behind for Julio and RR for a few years.

That being said, much rather have RR than KK
547 yards of total offense by Shepp??? That is amazing...and especially against a talented team

Wonder what the coaches will think of a no-show TR and a "ready to commit" CM.

re: Wooten to UGA

I just don't see Debose leaving Florida for some reason. I remember someone saying he gave LSU fans the Gator Chomp at one of his highschool games or seomthing, and if he is a big UF fan it would be very stupid of UF to not show him alot of love. I see us finishing with Bell,Randle and Benton....and not complaining about it. Wooten would have been nice, but good luck to him at UGA
Ive always thought that we are in complete control of our own destiny, even after our one loss(assuming penn state looses). Beating Alabama, Georgia, and coming back to beat Florida in the sec championship would be hard not to impress. Unfortanetly, seeing SC sitting at number 5 and us down at 13, it makes you wonder if we will eventually be able to jump a one loss SC. Also, imagine if Texas goes on to be the only undefeated, and Oklahoma dominates the rest of the year but gets left out of their conference championship. Would a one loss OU(and that one loss coming from an undefeated number one team by a touchdown) be thrown into a NC rematch with Texas before a one loss SEC school?
That's kind of like saying "Watch out Saban, LSU now has a pipeline in Alabama because we got a commit from Josh Willford...

I agree. It really sounds like they must have had a heated argument and someone said something that pushed TT over the edge. I think he is generally a pretty classy coach and probably was not set on firing him two days ago--more heat of the moment kind of thing

Now that Richard Wilson committed to BYU, is Charles the only TE we are recruiting?

i understand this is an lsu site, but there is no reasofor miles to be listed on this thread title. As you say at the midway point, nobody should be mentioned but Johnson and Saban.

Miles would very well deserve it if he won another national championship in a row. After loosing such player leadership and avoiding the "hangover blues" that many coaches struggle with, he would be just as worthy.
Same add appeared in Birmingham...I assume the gumps were pretty pissed
I know he might not even play DT, and his commitment would/should never scare McFarland away.... but maybe the coaches just want to be precautonary by leaving not accepting another DT committ until McFarland decides, and then they offer Sentimore bc they know that no matter what he wants to be a tiger?

Hey USC fans..

How is your QB looking at practice so far? Just wondering. I havent seen too much written in any articles about the situation being a question mark, so I assumed he did pretty well in the spring....
Did jones and alem come out of the same highschool too?
Love keeping lsu in the family
I would not want to be Georgia or Georgia fans if kick-off is at 11.
There was a quote about how you can smell te bourbon on the field at a night game...and thats a game starting around 8...3 hours shy of the drinking we can do.
If we both went into this game undefeated, it would top the atmosphere of the Florida game last year by far.

re: Hoover High School

The principal was the principal at Fontainbleau in Mandeville. My little sister goes there and he already knows and likes her because she wears LSU gear.

Hoover might be a little overhyped...but they did kick Tebows arse his senior year. Would have like to seen JC play against Tebow too.

Is Colorado beating FSU in Florida a big upset?

Right now Colorado has a higher rank, so wouldn't really be an upset....and Darrell Scott could do big things this year. Maybe Colorado over West Virginia the week before~Now that's an upset!

Unfortanetly you could say the same for us last year.....
Beat Florida/Auburn/Ohio State

Lose to Arky and Kentucky? WTF
