SEC Network Alternative

Espn saying the game is going to be televised on the SECalt Network. There are other games around the SEC televised on SEC at Noon. Does this mean it wont be on TV???

There’s an alternate SEC network that usually airs nothing. It’s channel 83 on Cox I believe. It will be on there.

My question if anyone knows- I have sports package with YouTube tv. I have sec network. Will the game pop up on another channel with it?

I have the same question about youtubetv as the guide for sec network has south Carolina amd not sure if it has an sec alternative channel selection.

I have the espn app on my firestick. I’m assuming I can catch it there since I get the secn channels on there?

I think you have to have another provider to get the alternate channel. Espn app alone doesn't get you this channel. I signed up for Hulu Live this week and used that as the provider. Had to go to settings tab on Espn app to set up provider. Hulu Live doesn't have a contract so you can cancel whenever you want.

I'm on Xfinity and the game will be broadcast live at 11 central. The alternate channel for them is kind of like Watch ESPN, so I can't record. However, the schedule shows a repeat broadcast on the SECN at 3pm that can be recorded. Don't know if that is accurate or not, but that is what it shows.

So on the ESPN app it only shows LSU on at 4:00. I have YouTube TV as the provider so I get all of the ESPN app channels. I’m waiting closer to 12:00 to see if it pops up, but for now it only shows 4:00

Likewise on Spectrum/Charter it only shows the game as available at 3 PM.

My Cox Cable listing has it on Channel 388 (SEC Alt) at 9 am Pacific and Channel 335 (SECN) at 1 pm Pacific.

I have YouTubeTV. I downloaded the ESPN app on my firestick and signed in through YouTubeTV as my provider. I have the SECN Alt channel in the app

I have xfinity also and it doesn't show up in my channel guide - I am almost positive I have watched the alternate channel before and it was right next to the SECN number in the guide.

The SEC Network alternate channels are also on DirecTV (Ch. 611-1) and DISH Network (Ch. 596/597 & 404.1-404.2 on the Hopper), AT&T U-Verse (Ch. 608/1608 & 609/1609) and Verizon FiOS (Ch. 332/832).
