Give another species a 65 Million year head start and then what do you think?

Dinosaurs may have been a dead end on Earth, but that doesn't mean all species get destroyed on every planet. If humanity doesn't destroy itself in the near future, who knows? 200 years ago a jet aircraft was beyond fantasy. An iPhone is a marvel compared to anything in the 80s.

Give humanity 1 million years of tech advancement, and who knows?

Yes but on the flip side, tech 200 years ago was limited in knowledge. Today we are running up against the laws of physics. Will we some how over come physics? possibly but it is far from a given that it is even possible.

You know from no life in an empty sea to organic compounds and then life to where we are now, the whole story of life on earth is spectacular. I'm sure there are others out there. By the way there has been some form of organized cellular life on earth for over three billion years. The age of man is really a blip in time.

Edit: For perspective on 65 million years of evolution, hominids have been on earth much less than that time. People like us have been on the earth for less than a million years. So how in the hell could we guaranty we can even last a million more? 65 million years is a long time for man to hang around. Many mammalian life forms from even the Pleistocene (2.5 mya) are long gone.

Why not give 'Humanity'...Infinity? Perceiving Entities that manifest via the Evolutionary Process, do so according to the relative degree re their acquisition and implementation of Knowledge, employed as Power. Knowledge ("The Word"/Truth) transforms; infinitely so.

"The kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a mustard seed; starting off a the smallest of all seeds and growing into the largest of trees (place of abode and nurture?), wherein all manner of birds and fowl..." (Biblical paraphrase).

All Lifeforms move toward ultimate unification with the 'Reservoir' from which they are manifest. That Reservoir - if indeed it is Self Aware - then becomes a 'Loving God'; the Spiritual version of perceived reality. And infinite in all manner.

If the 'Reservoir' is not innately, self aware...but just feelingless Energy expressed as Matter...then...IMO...the simplest Soul who feels and revers Love, is to be revered more than the totality of a limitless 'Reservoir', devoid of Feeling.

If there is God (Self Aware Reservoir), then those Entities who grow in Knowledge and Power, ultimately reach a point of 'transformation', whereupon they may CHOOSE their own perceptive, universal Paradigm. "In my house there are many mansions".

A loving and honest God would never create lesser Entities, for 'His' own gratification. Lucifer (Absolute Narcissism) would take God down if so. Therefore, Entities reach a point wherein they must CHOOSE their ultimate Reality. Either way...it's the 'Singularity'. There is nothing outside of the MIRACULOUS and inexplicable 'Reservoir'.

IMO, choose Love (Unity), and move from the limitations of a 'Self'...and on to the 'Promised Land'. I'll still miss my Dog, licking my hand and the children's face...IRL. Real...being key.

So poignant. So fleeting. So bittersweet. So beautiful...and ugly. Lord have mercy on the souls who love.
