demographics won't allow change and are only going to get worse
What demographics have changed so much in the past twenty or thirty years that make you think a point of no return has been hit?
No place is beyond repair, no place is some heaven on earth. Travel shows you that all this “This place is so much better than Louisiana” just isn’t true. I’ve seen the entire country. Some places are beautiful and I love seeing as much of it as possible, but nothing has made me say, “Oh yeah, this is where I should be.”
To each their own, but anyone claiming definitively that some place is so much better is based on opinion.

here is one
and this is a national graph, but it's just to show this isn't about one race or anything. LA has lower class mentality in all races:
LA will be that graph on steroids
go look up any indicator of the LA population with respect to societal pathologies and it ain't getting better
how are you going to deal with that, both political and just societally? how do you have a complete reversal of 30 years of trends, and why wouldn't that take 30 years itself to reverse?
it would probably take more time to fix b/c lots of the educated people who would offset our lower class population have left. we have steadily lost this population each year while the lower class population is exploding.
