Best place to eat boiled crabs in Metairie area?

In town and want to eat boiled crabs, blue or snow, y’all have any recommendations?

The proper way to eat boiled crabs is buying them from a seafood market, if you do not catch them yourself, and eating them outside. You are in the wings of Providence, though, as a Metairie seafood market sells the Metro's best boiled crab. I recommend getting a dozen, perhaps a few boiled potatoes, and ask if they will fill up your cup with some ice and tap water. Head to the Bonnabel Boat Launch at Lake Pontchartrain. Sit down to the breeze and listen to the gulls and fishermen as you crack some crab. There is no reason to pay twice as much to sit in an uncomfortable restaurant, exposing yourself to the viruses. Sure, but in order to get a Top 10 list, I had to break days into segments.
TulaneLSU's Top 10 days of the week:
10. Saturday morning -- depending on if it is an odd or even date, I alternate between three hours of Karl Barth or Thomas Aquinas reading after getting a dozen donuts from New Orleans best donut shoppe: Tastees on Loyola in Kenner, where the red light is always flashing. If you ever see a lanky guy reading Summa Theologiae at that location, please introduce yourself.
9. Sunday midday/lunch -- the best meal of the week, usually. When Picadilly was better, we ate here after church. Now Mother either makes her famous pot roast or we get poorboys and eat them outdoors if the weather is cooperating.
8. Tuesday night -- Mother and I, and sometimes Ms. Sarah, gather to watch PBS's Frontline and then discuss it. Now we do it virtually, but I still enjoy our conversations.
7. Friday lunch -- sometimes father takes me to Galatoire's, at least before March. Other times I wander the Quarters observing people after a meal at Napoleon House.
6. Wednesday afternoon -- usually the nicest weather of the week, according to my personal almanac recording the weather of the last 30 years in New Orleans.
5. Tuesday morning -- Pancake day!
4. Saturday night -- Movie night with Mother before covid. And just hours before we can break our fast and worship with our church!
3. Thursday evening -- Sunday is nearly here!
2. Friday night -- the weekend has arrived, and Vespers are best on Fridays!
1. Sunday morning -- communal worship time!

P.S. Honorable mention would be Monday morning before 8:30. It is easily the best time of the week to shop at Walmart or Sam's. The crowds are light, and usually the fresh food is well stocked and you have first pick.

TulaneLSU, Bucktown harbor now has three shelters with picnic tables. As well as a boardwalk going out over the lake and marsh area. Plus if you time your visit at sunset you can hear Taps playing at the Coast Guard Station as they lower the flag for the night. If you see a guy with glasses with a Brooks running cap jogging by, scream out some words of encouragement.
