still myles. a QB in his first SEC start going 345, 3td's was a pipe dream up to 2018.
Brennan threw the ball 46 times - he should have a lot of yards. And one of his TDs was an absolute fluke where he just chucked it up for grabs.
Sorry, but I watched every play and Brennan didn't play well, was never in command, held the ball WAY too long, has little scrambling ability, is indecisive, and was inaccurate on too many throws.
Sorry, but just looking at raw statistics doesn't tell the story. He played poorly, against a lesser SEC team, at home.

How many times did Burrow throw it up to a covered receiver and they went up and got it.
About fifty percent of the time.
Burrow even said he did it, believing/knowing Chase or Marshall would go up and get it.
Hell we have talked all summer about Gilbert's ability to catch everything close to him. I wasn't surprised that he made the catch.
If Burrow had made that pass the board would be euphoric in praise.

No one is saying he played well. He played very timid and without confidence. Receivers dropped several that they should have caught.
He still managed to score enough points that with any resemblance of a defense, we should have won that game.
The offense looked extremely unpolished and lacked confidence.
The defense (with one or two exceptions) looked completely lost and out of shape.

2 white jerseys around a single maroon one. one of those 2 was #2. he got it there falling down, I'd have tried that, too.

His performance was not good, the plays were good, receivers were open, he is slow a foot and slower in the decision department. A practice QB and a game time QB are totally different
