Assuming NOLA opens up for conventions next year, we have a helicopter operators convention scheduled for the last week of March 2021. Need restaurant recommendations around the convention center with private or semi private rooms. We usually schedule 3-4 nights with groups of 12-20 people. Thanks very much

No clue which ones will survive the retard mayor's plan to destroy the city.

Calcasieu is the Link Restaurant group's special events facility, located upstairs from Cochon restaurant on Tchoupitoulas, near the ConvCenter. The space is a series of various sized rooms, large and small. I've used the Wine Room for seated dinners for 20ish, and everyone enjoyed the food & service. I highly recommend, and you can select from food in the style of the various Link group restaurants (Peche, Herbsaint, Cochon). Online booking, online reservations/contract agreement and payment. Easy peasy for the event planner. LINK

There are plenty of great restaurants that have private and semi private rooms.
I wouldn't worry with even looking into it right now. Start checking late this year or maybe even January. A lot might change with our restaurant scene.

Cochon is close and has a private room. Emerils, Meril, and Peche all are nearby and would be able to accomodate.

Tableau has great private rooms, I believe they can seat about 20 in the one I went to

Calcasieu is great for private rooms, so is Palace Cafe.

This is where we did our rehearsal dinner. Can’t recommend enough. Especially if you do a custom menu.
Highly recommend
