Does anyone think Flynn might not make the Packers because Farve is back. The Packers now have four quarterbacks and two rookies. With Flynn being the lowest on the depth chart, do you think they will keep him?

Flynn is gone. He might make the practice squad if he's lucky.

The interception king should just retire and get off of my TV. I heard that Flynn was just as good as BB and they were fighting for #2

There is a possibility - depends on the cap hit with the two rookie QBs. A willingness to renegotiate or go to the practice squad (which may work to Flynn's favor if he can play in NFL-E). Either way it is a short-term issue, as Favre only has a year or two left, at best (certainly with the Packers).

Pretty sure that doesn't exist anymore! If by NFL-E you mean NFL Europe. They closed it down last year.

Hopefully someone else picks Flynn up. Brohm, Rodgers and Favre will be the 3 in GB unless Mr. Sportscenter himself gets traded.

Matt really got the short stick on this one. As the Pack's 7th round pick, that means he came thisclose to going undrafted, and having the freedom to sign w/ a team with a "better" QB situation for him (places like Miami and Chicago come to mind).

Getting let go w/ training camp nearly halfway over (I said T.C., not preseason)sucks, as he may not have enough time for another team to pick him up & properly evaluate him.

Hope he lands on his feet somewhere, as by all accounts he's worked hard and done well so far in camp.

I think Matt will make the practice squad somewhere. Did anyone see Colt Brennan tearing it up for Washington in the HOF Game last night? Hopefully if Matt can have some simalar performances in preseason, he will land on somebodys roster.

it was looking good for Flynn until Farve decided to come back. McCarthy was very high on him,he said him and Brohm were about even.

but naturally if the had to choose three its going to be farve, rodgers, and brohm. even if flynn plays better than brohm in camp/preseason.

but flynn did sign a 2 or 3 year contract i know. so they may cut him and take a small hit, or keep 4 qbs. but keeping 4 qbs doesnt make much sense.

I said on draft day that this was going to happen. Sucks for Flynn because he may now have to go and learn a new system.

several scenarios could happen...first, if Brett comes in and does well enough to win the job, then Rodgers could demand to be traded. Also, if Flynn is close to Brohm, the Pack my try to trade him since they could probably get something out of that vs. just cutting Flynn

Wow...you don't have a fricking clue. First of all Flynn was a 7th round pick so he has about as little of a cap hit as anyone on the team. Then of course there is no more NFL Europe you dumbass. Why do you give advise like you know what the hell your talking about when you are as clueless to this answer as a 6 yr old girl.

damn dude..u must have some vendetta against him or somethin.

If Favre comes back and Flynn is the fourth on the depth chart then yes he gets cut this week.

Farve should realize that he just fricked Flynn up the arse and do something for him.
