This is a total misnomer

He actually gets paid a salary. There is no way to avoid it.

This will be the dumbest argument brought up in the debates. Joe wooo look foolish for going after it.

Whenever they think they've pulled a "we got him!" it always backfires on them spectacularly in some way and ends up in the fake news bin with the rest of the stories

He only takes $1 salary for being president and donates the rest to charity. I don't know what kind of salary he takes from the Trump Organization but I'd imagine its probably fairly small considering the Dems/media haven't attacked him for drawing a salary from his business operations while he's president. So what income does he have to be taxed on?

I like it when people can legally reduce their taxes, doesn't matter who or how much they make. That said, are quarterly taxes figured into that $750, or that's just the bottom line on the tax form?

Member when, in 2012, dimocratix Harry Reid went to the floor of the Senate and proclaimed Mitt Romney didn’t pay any taxes? And member after the election, when a reporter asked Harry if he was remorseful for doing it, and he said,”Well, it worked, didn’t it??” Member that? Yeah, good times!

Trump paid all the taxes that he owed.
The reason he didn't pay more is because he obeyed the tax laws written by Senator Joe Biden and his fellow senators.

Wonder how much taxes the Bidens paid on the money they extorted from foreign countries?

Speaking of, Trump doesn't exactly sing the IRS' praises. There doesn't appear to be any love lost there. And whatever other cliches may apply.

Point being, I don't imagine the IRS is keen on "protecting" Trump in any way.

Nope. He's the executive. My REPRESENTATIVE used to be Shiela Jackson Lee. She in no way represented me. Had ZERO to do with how much taxes she paid, tho.

Did you have a point?

Can Trump squeeze a source out of NYT? Would that person not be jailbound?

US Code says up to 5 years in prison / $250,000 per count for violating tax return confidentiality, not to mention damages suits.
