My confession is that I watched the game and somewhat enjoyed watching them get humiliated by Mississippi State. The team set themselves up for this with all their nonsense that was an enormous distraction. I will not allow a 18-22 year old, athlete who has been pampered their entire life lecture me on my privilege.

The UGA game, from what I saw on TV, wasn't nearly as woke as some of the other broadcasts. There was brief get together of both teams with something about united or equality or something on their shirts, then that seemed to be it.

The ESPN broadcast of the Ol Miss vs. Florida game, however, was a shite show. All about the Mississippi flag and the efforts of the coaches, the SEC, the players to get the stars and bars removed. It was cringe worthy filth.

At first, I wanted Florida to lose to help the Dawgs, but then I just didn't care. They both could lose and ESPN could burst into flames, and I didn't care. I sure am glad I didn't pay for ESPN+

I get what you’re saying but the majority of these athletes haven’t been pampered their entire life.

A lot come from very bad circumstances and see football as their only way out.

I mostly watched it (walked away a lot to tend to my smoker and never once felt anxious in doing so).

I won’t lie and say I “enjoyed” the outcome, but I had a sort of indifference to it that I haven’t had with LSU football in some time. Certainly I can’t recall from a first game.

Here here! This is my feeling on the matter as well.

I watched the first half when I was at the office but it was really bad. I will most likely not tune in again.
