I dislike cutaways in acoustics, with the exception of the Taylor x14 body shapes.
Dislike glossy necks and fingerboards on electric and bass guitars.
Prefer ebony or rosewood fingerboards, dislike maple altogether.
I hate piezo pickups in acoustics. Also don't like the sound of Taylor's expression pickups though I played one for over 15 years.
Absolutely love Guild acoustic guitars. New, old, made in America, made overseas, owned by whoever. Just love them and prefer them over Taylor, Martin, Gibson, etc.

I’ve posted pics of my pop’s 68 guild acoustic/electric that I have in my possession. Recently had the plastic veneer on the headstock repaired and replaced with ebony and a mop inlay. Turned out great. Next step is getting fretwork done.
