They older game films were shot on cameras with a lower frames per second than what is standard today

I used to inject those NFL Films shows/clips directly into my veins growing up. Loved that shite.

I’d pay a non zero amount of money for a streaming service that has that full archives

No. This is why much older films always appear to be moving so fast. It’s almost a trope now to portray an old timey black and white movie when portrayed today to mimic it.

If the frame rate was lower back then, they’d need to speed it up to match today. Thus faster. 24 is about the minimum the human eye can See without seeing flickering.
