morning period is over
This is not the last "morning" period we'll see over this event.
It'll start back at 12:00am and last at least until 11:59am each day.

This is a sad case. Hopefully “No knock warrants” will be banned in the future.
It wasn't a no-knock, which I think should be illegal.
It is a shitty situation but it is what it is. Burning shite down doesn't solve anything it only hurts your "cause" if there even is a "cause" at this point other than being shite citizens because you have cover now to be shitty.

Walker was in illegal possession of a firearm
Wut?
No he wasn't. Walker isn't a felon, he was perfectly OK to legally possess a firearm in the state of Kentucky.

Whether they knocked or not it’s still referred to as a “no knock” I believe. Either way it’s taking place in the middle of the night while people are supposed to be sleeping and it’s hard for both parties to see anything.
It’s sad. It’s not murder or criminal or even negligent on the officers part but it’s safe to say an investigation can be handled in a safer manner. Remember the cop was shot also.

If Breonna Taylor's home was so dangerous and vital to the investigation, why weren't all the cops wearing body cams and having them turned on? Its been reported that officers didnt have body cams, but here is photo of one of officers (Det. Anthony James) who assisted in the raid with one on in a picture taken after Breonna Taylor was killed. Wouldn't you want footage of the apprehension of such a dangerous criminal being taken off Louisville streets?
Also, I keep seeing this idea that a neighbor heard the police announce themselves before entering. Why would they do that if they had a no knock warrant? Did they forget they had one? It makes no sense to get a no knock warrant then arrive at the apartment to only announce yourselves to the violent threat you seemingly were there to arrest? Also, as someone alluded to as well, that cant be true, because had they announced themselves, its highly unlikely the boyfriend would have shot and its even more unlikely that he would have walked away from the charges he was facing for wounding the officer

I guess they could not check that out once he fired on the police.

The DA said they were advised to knock by their department even though they had a no knock warrant.

WTF are you talking about.
The black AG laid it all out. It wasn't a no knock warrant.
It isn't that damn difficult unless the facts don't align with your emotions.

Are you implying that they had no reason to have a warrant?
Posted on 9/23/20 at 3:27 pm to Janky
Are you implying they found ANY evidence of a crime after executing said warrant?
I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t on the poliboard.

That has nothing to do with acquiring a warrant and serving said warrant.

How could anyone know when the only thing being demanded by the mob is to hang the cops.
That is what happens when you're trying to please the mob.

So here's the issue. That's the first time we've heard it was no longer a "no knock warrant". The Mayor, LMPD, and others all claimed it was a No Knock publicly. The knocking itself doesn't disqualify it by a No-Knock as that's just a general name giving authorization for police to enter a private premise without announcing themselves.
They literally named if after her locally and even Rand Paul named his legislation after her because we were all told it WAS a No-Knock Warrant (WDRB article)
