^^this

Collin's is making a huge miscalculation here. There's not a lefty or lefty-indie out there that is somehow saying "i might vote for collins now that she said she'd prefer to wait"

But her support from the right could cool down for doing this shite.

I think Collins is trying to appear neutral by having statements that appeal to both sides:

quote:

President Trump has the constitutional authority to make a nomination to fill the Supreme Court vacancy

quote:

I do not believe that the Senate should vote on the nominee prior to the election

She won’t have to abstain. McConnell is going to hold hearings before the election, and set a vote after the election, and before the AZ senate seat is sworn in in late November. None of Gardner, Collins or Murkowski will vote NO at that point. Their abstaining at that point, if they chose to, wont change the results.

Umm No...

There are a bunch of competitive Senate races with candidates that need this vote to happen before.

NC, GA, MT, IA

There is zero change McConnell punts to after the election.

Back at ya.

Collins DEFINITELY believes what you are saying is true. Collins, like every other Milquetoast GOPe RINO is incapable of understanding or accepting their complete irrelevance.

If Collins loses her seat, it will be because Collins failed to back Trump's nominee. It is inexplicable to me how these morons consistently cut off their nose to spite their face. It would not surprise me in the least if Collins failed to do what is in her own best interst, and what her actual consistuency wants her to do because she's blinded by sheer, unadulterated Establishment Hubris.

And she should spit in Diane Finestains eye when doing it.

Hey I can dream.

Btw did we ever hear what damage was done by her chauffeur?

Asking for a friend.

McConnell has internal polling, and knows how those races will fall. He’s playing the long game, and is willing to protect Gardner and Collins in exchange for their promised vote.
