Let’s see, eight conference games, looks like a normal B1G schedule to me. So, they aren’t playing Cincinnati, Kent State, and Bowling Green this year. Let em in if they go 8-0 and are ranked high enough.

Name recognition. The same way Notre Dame is still getting attention these days.

Blue blood programs have to really stink it up (looking at you Michigan) to lose that name value.
