If they don’t fill it, Trump will be made to look weak because he put his nominee out there and couldn’t get the party to confirm. It will splinter the party. It will deflate the right. It will energize the left. And a political generation deciding seat will be left exposed. It will be disastrous for the Republicans.
If the Republicans do not fill this seat, I will never cast a vote for a Republican again and I urge everyone to do the same.
If they can’t stand up and do this, then it’s time to destroy the Republican Party and build anew.

Let me see if I can follow this logic. 48 Republicans will be fighting to confirm Trump’s next SCOTUS, but you’ll stop voting for them if Mitt and the other 4 RINOs join the Democrats?
And who are you going to vote for instead? The super useful Libertarians?
