BI growth was stunted with the arrival of the black hole called Lebron. It took for LaBra to miss time for BI to show his worth. Similar to Tatum and Brown having a "down" year when Kyrie was flaming out in Boston.
Now that BI is the man in N.O., I fully expect his maturation process to mimic Durant. The comparisons are evident and appropriate. Is he Durant? Not yet and those in favor are not necessarily saying he is, but the numbers are strikingly similar at the same stage of their respective careers.
A better supporting cast will undoubtedly be to BI's benefit and allow for him to show his full potential.
