I get y’all don’t agree with some of the restrictions, and while I agree with that, this complaint is a little non-sense. Trying to claim science and wrong tools, etc.
The IR thermometers used are intended for measuring body temperature. They’re even idiot proof with sounds and color codes.
While checking temperature is not perfect, it does catch many people who claim to “feel fine”. Honestly the biggest issue is timing. Stand outside a business for 10 minutes in the sun and heat before they check your temp and it’ll read pretty high.
