You'd have to close the plot hole of why in the hell didn't Luke and Rey ask them for help in TLJ and TROS.....I can't imagine they would kill off Ashoka, Ezra, Mando, and the Child...but maybe.

Luke exiled himself, and who says Leia didn't? Some of them could have been killed when Kylo burned down Luke's temple.

A lot of speculation that the sequel trilogy will turn out to be non cannon in the long run if Lucas comes back.
