I’m no Lebron fan but this is stupid. LA county has a $3.3 billion sheriff dept budget.

How about focusing on catching the shooter instead of silly theatrics.

You don’t think they’re trying to catch the shooter?

It looks like it is an offer to him to possibly show outwardly that he isn't anti-police, but anti bad police. Who is to say the shooter didn't hear guys like Lebron speak of white people and police openly hunting Black men and this cause them to do some hunting of their own? I have zero issue with guys like Lebron using their platform, but people with that much influence need to understand that their rhetoric when absorbed by people who follow them like prophets can be an issue. So Lebron openly accepting the offer and forging a partnership (even if just public) with the LAPD can go a long way towards causing actual change in the dynamic between LAPD and POC.

This isnt about the money, moron. Its an attempt to heal the community by getting LeBron to stand up for Blue Lives Matter.

Right?
“Hey, Sheriff, for the love of god would you stop tweeting at Lebron and get back to looking at this evidence? With you doing that we can’t solve this case!”

frick you

It took the sheriff all of 30 seconds to compose that. He can probably multitask and if not can probably fit a bit more into his day.

Attacking the piece of shite whose behavior supports targeting cops is a perfectly fine use of a small sliver of his time.

Pieces of shite like LeBron are the reason why this shooter felt emboldened to try to murder 2 cops in broad daylight.

This may come as a bit of a shock to you, but the actual Sheriff of a department that has a $3 billion dollar budget isn’t the one investigating crimes.

Those jobs are actually handled by any number of the 10,000 deputies he oversees.

So he has time to bring attention to ambush style shooting of two of his deputies
