Malcome Green, one who got away is blowing up Clemson's camp. Had he stayed with the real Tigers, we wouldn't have needed to shop Transfer Portal.

Coach Raymond compared him to the Honey Badger. I can't think of another DB he has made that comparison for. Maybe the Shreveport DB that went to TCU that was also committed to LSU. He is a stud as well.

Would’ve loved to have him but he wanted to go to Clemson. He didn’t play us or anything. I wish him the best.

Some of you cats are real slow. This isn’t about Clemson or TCU. This is about Coach Raymond’s talent evaluation ability. It also is not about whether we got another safety. If you took the time to read the link, you’d know he has played lights out and excelled at safety, cornerback and nickel. Also as the other poster mentioned, he did not play games in recruiting with LSU.

Yet this is the first time you even bring up the notion of his ability to evaluate talent... And you didn't even give your opinion of it

He was a 4 Star with offers from major programs. Why are we talking about him like he’s a diamond in the rough, especially considering he’s already playing for another team?

Then why didn’t you use the guy that actually came to LSU and the LSU coaching staff has also talked up who may get a ton of playing time especially if Harris isn’t fully healthy? Why did you feel the need to bring up a fellow 4 star that plays for another team?

Greene is absolutely one who got away. Hard to blame the guy for wanting to play closer to home though. It's something that goes to our advantage more often than not. Toles is going to be awesome, but it would have been great to pair him with Greene.

Ardarius Washington is a guy LSU cut loose and shouldn't have.

Insult aside, there isn't a person here who doesn't understand Coach Raymond's evaluation talents. My obvious point is that a thread about a Clemson db excelling really isn't what the LSU recruiting board is for. Otherwise this board becomes full of garbage about every player we recruited, who went elsewhere, and how they are doing in their camp at their school. That's ALWAYS been the standard on the recruiting board. This board is about kids LSU is recruiting, not updates on those who got away.

I can’t account for those without the ability to comprehend. The freeking title of the thread "LSU and Coach Raymond Know Talented Defensive Backs." Geeze!

“Coach Raymond compared him to the Honey Badger. I can't think of another DB he has made that comparison for. Maybe the Shreveport DB that went to TCU that was also committed to LSU. He is a stud as well.”

For those with limited reading and comprehension skills, the above is a compliment to Coach Raymond’s ability to evaluate talent. He was two for two on those two DBs who, it seems, are stud DBs. One of which Clemson coaches are raving about.
