What word do you miss the most from PC culture?

When you used to be able to put the words "make me a sammich" after the word "Woman". Those were the good ole days.

My son had an old school BB coach this past summer, he was probably in his early 70s. He’d tell some of the kids, you’re acting like a sissy..

My son had to ask me what a sissy was..

Retarded/retardation when used correctly getting you gigged just pisses me off. Walther CCP 9mm used a gas retardation system as the main selling point for the firearm. It’s a different system than HK used in the P7/P14 but when explaining what it is and means sales folks can’t because of the stigma of the word retardation.


Internationally count is perfectly acceptable as a descriptor for just about everything. In the US it gets you sent to HR and retraining.

****. The greatest, most actuate term to describe the condition ever. It’s literally a bundle of sticks. A bunch of random dudes standing around with their hands in their pockets is and should be ****s. But walk up and say “what are you ****s doing” and it’s a trip to HR and sensitivity training.

People today are just weak. “Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me” is a lost concept. Now simple words can cause a psychosomatic reaction that equates to temporary insanity as a justification for weakness.

PC culture never stops me from using any word in my vocabulary.

If the word best describes what I want to say, then I use that word.

I watched a clip of Rodney Dangerfield on Johnny Carson’s show from the 70s and it was refreshing to hear Rodney so casually refer to “fat ugly” women without an eyebrow raised.
