Is there an opinion in the Cambridge study in the OP? It’s a study/observation on a critical error that took place and was the basis for many critical decisions early on. It’s not really something to disagree or agree about. It’s factual history.

It wasn’t an error for lack of better judgement, it was a bias error to drive the model. Of course I’ll claim an error if one of my models are wrong, but in the end the model says exactly what I was paid to make it say.
