Got damn, I'm in the wrong business.
I need to have 8 windows replaced on my condo and it's gonna be like ~$4,000 using Window World here in BR.
Does anyone have any cheaper solutions?

Hahahaha... dont call Relief Windows if that price bothered you. I got a quote awhile back from them and it was like $1k/window.

Yea, and expect 3x the price or more from other places. We're using window world on some windows. The other prices were just absurd.

Call a glass company and see if they can replace the glass portion, only. Will be a cheaper alternative as they do not remove the frame.

The windows are 10 years old so the frames are fricked probably which is why the windows are all that frosted white/milky look and I cant see out of them anymore.

Lowe's had a little better deal for us than did WW.
Champion was higher.

You can have that repaired for much cheaper than $500 per window FWIW. IF that's the only issue with the windows, you're looking for the wrong servicing.

Your seal in the insulating glass has gone bad. Your frames should be plenty good at 10 years old unless your house has been under water for 10 years or you have major foundation issues.
Just making up sizes here, but let's say each insulating unit that needs to be replaced is 36x24, then you're looking at $1500ish to replace all eight. That's probably on the upper end too. I came up with $1312, but bumped it up because why not and I don't know what framing system you have. I'm also on the higher end in my market.

Call Window Medic replace just the sashes, frames are still good. Thank me later

My windows are 30 years old and I got a quote to replace just the glass, with new, double insulated windows. They come out, remove only the glass and replace with new double insulated glass.

I have never had any quotes for new windows before, but the cost of an entry double door blew me away. Our house was broken into two years ago right through the front door. It was an irregular shaped, irregular sized double - door. Quotes of $12K from Relief Windows and $8K from Pella. Window World wouldn't even give us a quote for that type of door shape and size. I can't say that I was even expecting quotes for HALF of that!

Yeah non-standard sizing comes with non-standard pricing.
