I think you’re right about people who join cults being weak-minded. BUT, I also think it stems from people wanting to belong to something bigger than themselves. So instead of looking to our Lord Jesus Christ they look past the obvious path to salvation and try to find solace in a false and devious personality or system. They become sheep to a false god.

Awesome. Now we are getting deep. But what if you belong to the religion that you believe in? I don't know what it is, but I will give an example. Let's say you are Baptist. So that means everyone who is Catholic is in a cult. They are going to hell. Wrong choice. False God, as you say.

Look, I'm a active Christian, say my prayers daily and fully believe in Lord Jesus Christ. BUT, how do we know we're not being duped? They believe in their god probably even more than we believe in our own. Do we just go with blind faith and hope that we're right they're wrong? Because that is their strategy too.
