"Thugs"? Really? Did you hear what JaCoby Stevens had to say about why the team was marching? He was extremely well spoken & made it clear that he supported the police as well as saying there is needed police reform. Any argument there? Chase is well spoken. As was noted in a supposed quote from a TAF booster, as long as they protest as they did yesterday, I have no problem. There was no hateful rhetoric or chants supporting violence. Now, if the administration goes overboard, then I will do my part in hurting them where it counts, in the check book.

44 year old white male weighing in here. For the better part of my adult life I have planned the fall around LSU’s schedule. Hosting game parties for the marquee games, attending 2-3 home games and usually a bowl game or neutral site season opener.

This year, I will watch a game on TV but if something else I want to do is happening I may miss a few. I won’t attend any games, nor spend on merchandising.

This has little to do with yesterday’s march but university BoS decisions on renaming buildings and the “diversity focus” LSU has embraced.

Wait...what! So, from the Website Manifestos of BLM and Antifa to the looted and burning cities and murdered (ambushed in Dallas by BLM) Police...the Players do not associate THEIR (tacit) support for said Groups with what happens IRL? Kinda hard to swallow that. In fact, I flat out don't believe that the Players are not aware of just what these Organizations both believe, and act upon.

Whatever, it's coming out in the wash. This ain't football, it's Marxism v Capitalism; with a very distinct and descriptive, and MURDEROUS historical record. Marxist take their Ideology serious...so do Constitutional Freedom-loving Patriots.

And to the Poster who threatens to show this Thread to the Parents of "high level Recruits"...well, we should all be educated re just what and who we will be teaming up with. And what problems may pop up in the relationship. Works both ways. Try it before you buy it.

One thing is for sure...the Players can kiss the adulation and standing ovations of a hundred thousand adoring fans...good bye. Se la vi. The Players chose to be Political; and will get booed if they do it in the Stadium. It'll be a miracle if that comes back, anytime soon. Sad, but Human progress is such. We'll get through it and be better for it. I suspect that football will be the least of our worries, in that process.

Just a thought: Maybe seats in Death Valley should be FREE; that might beat empty. No 'Border'...no Gates. And the Players can play for their SJW 'choir'. Now that would be real 'social justice'.
