It’s pretty clear he’s just speculating. Would be awesome to add him but it looks like LSU is going with the kid from Nichols. I’d imagine Wade will focus on the draft.

Maybe, but Wade and his parents want him to play a fall season so he can break out and move higher in the draft.

And arguably the best cornerback in the country — Shaun Wade — isn’t playing this season, while his dad has been vocal about wanting his son to play, especially over the weekend when he flew to Chicago to protest the Big Ten’s decision.

Nothing against the kid, but there’s a reason he was at Nichols. Not even in the same stratosphere.

Orgeron didn’t make that statement to the press to send a message to a CB from Nichols State man. Come on.

Nah he ain’t coming. We have no starting spots open to offer him and he can’t get a waiver anyway

Dude is already a top 10 pick and will train up to the Combine. Why risk injury and getting shown up by Stingley (like Fulton) which would both jeopardize his stock. No brainer

Uh, O stated that we have a spot (and we do have one) and he’s graduated. He wouldn’t need a waiver. Just like Burrow, he’d be a grad transfer.

Teams won’t throw at Stingley, he would be in a perfect position to elevate his draft stock. It’s what he and his dad want. His dad flew up over the weekend to confront the B1G commissioner for cancelling.

Uhhh... Is it your contention that this individual would be better equipped to train for the draft as a free agent than with the LSU program?

He linked an article about Orgeron reaching out for a starting CB from another conference and tagged Wade in his comment with “uh oh @wade with a question mark. Sorry I couldn’t translate that to my OP but it’s as close as I could get.

Or Shaun Wade could get the chance to make Kevin Warren watch his son get shut down on both sides of the field when LSU plays State

Kevin Warren is such a hypocrite and everyone sees it. Including Shaun’s dad.

Yes we do. Corner spot opposite Stingley, especially since this is a year of no lost eligibility.

This kid has a good chance of of getting drafted actually. Some kids get over looked for a multitude of reasons.

Tyrann Mathieu and Justin Jefferson would have likely been at the same type of second tier school.

There’s a massive difference between a first rounder and a 6th or 7th rounder. Wade is likely a first rounder. Do you not see the difference?

But they weren’t, right? Maybe there’s a reason why LSU offered them and not this kid that ended up at Nichols State.

Where did I compare them? Please show me.

I was merely stating just because the kid is at Nicholls doesn't automatically mean he sucks like you implied.

I’m not saying he sucks. If O is interested there must be a reason. But to try to say he’s on the level of Shaun Wade is absurd. Wade is comparable to Stingley. I can guarantee you the Nichols CB is not.

It’s not like we’d be getting another Jabril Cox from a national championship FCS team.
