Or if you're the media "dark, dystopian and xenophobic."

According to the hollywood and media pundits' tweets and comments, it is now OK to be xenophobic and belittle women.

Gah I hate those frickin Danes

I can find no fault with any of last night's speakers. They all hit their mark.

It was ok.

Content was good, delivery was meh.

Not because of the language barrier, but she read it as if it was the first time she was reading it.

Funny how the Dems talk about women's rights but savage any woman that doesn't agree with them. Hypocrites.

After all she can only speak five languages.

It's always been that way with the left.

NOW doesn't support women. It supports progressive ideas. Sarah Palin be dammed

NAACP doesn't support blacks. It supports progressive ideas. Clarence Thomas be damned.

Melanie is the reason I have love and high hopes for this country.

Like me she came to this country seeking opportunities that were not available in our countries. And now we have made it good for ourselves and our kids. God bless America.

Can you imagine waking up to that every morning? I wouldn't have a bad day ever.

I agree I thought it was fantastic . It’s really sick the way the media talks about this amazing lady . If she was a Democrat the left would want her to be the president . I loathe the media .

Always wondered when a person speaks several languages, do they think in their native language.
Seems like you’d have to decide which language, translate each word in a split second.

I wonder if Bette Midler would be making fun of FLOTUS’s accent if she were from Mexico, or ( ......... ) fill in the blank- any other central/ South American country.

Not according to NBCNews

Pompeo faces investigation after brazen RNC speech

Here's some of the objective reporting:

quote:

Under normal circumstances, political speeches should be judged on their content. And by this metric, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's remarks to the Republican National Convention were a mess.

The Kansas Republican claimed Donald Trump had strengthened NATO, which was the opposite of the truth. Pompeo insisted Trump's failed policy toward North Korea was a success, which was pitifully untrue. The cabinet secretary said the president "held China accountable for covering up the China virus," which was amusing, given Trump's praise for China's "transparency" on the matter.

Perhaps my personal favorite was Pompeo's willingness to boast that Ukraine now has "defensive weapon systems" -- systems Trump was impeached over after the president tried to leverage the supplies as part of an illegal extortion scheme.

100 years ago Cajuns in South La couldn't speak French or English. It was their own mix with extra terms that they just made up.
