what traps and bait do you run for coons? duke dog proof here with cat food and sardine oil
sometimes marshmellows and honey buns

coon cuffs with catfood in the bottom. I prefer to shoot them though because the meat is better when they haven't been stressed all night.

Did as a teen. It was fun then. I don't have the stomach for it now.

My boy runs a few dog proofs with corn around the deer feeders when we go camp during spring and fall.

Occasionally use same baited with cat food in the back yard when one keeps tearing up the bird feeders.

I trapped all the time as a yougun, back in the 90's you could get $18.00 for a coon hide and $5.00 for the meat.

My dad had a bluetick coon dog that was badass too.

I remember selling hides and getting $1,500 - $2,000 as a teen, I was in high cotton.

We also trapped fox / Coyotes

I got away from marshmallows on the dukes, they seem to attract the ants. Do you guys think it matters if they are full of ants?

Picked up some fish oil to use this year with the cat food.
