But it sure helped our LBs. I hope you realize that Pellini will be the other way around.
I've always seen Pelini as 60/40 read-react/aggressive with the LBs.

And one difference is that DL find it somewhat un-natural to be a block eater while LBs are taught from the beginning to read-react from that position.

So while I can see it having an effect, I think the Aranda-to-DL effect is greater than the Pelini-to-LB effect is.

Who know's, we are all basing this off of "Historical Bo", not "Bo with a great offense coming back to coordinator level under CEO" Bo, which we haven't seen yet. He's not going to stray too far from what he does, but it might be different enough this time around we're all spewing incorrect BS.

When Pelini was here the first time we had droves of talent on the dline. We had LBs like Luke Sanders and Derry Beckwith who weren’t the level of player we’ve seen lately at LSU. We did have Ali Higsmith who was a great college LB but I think you’re right in stating that it’s a wait and see on exactly which unit will take the lead and shine over the next couple of years. Do we see multiple Highsmith type of performances during a season or does a Dlineman make a huge jump in terms of measurable production statistically.
